Lotus flowers are often admired up close or across wide fields of green.
This time, however, I found myself standing inside a traditional Korean pavilion, looking through its wooden frame toward the quiet pond beyond.
The architecture did not separate me from nature. Instead, it gently invited me to pause and see the landscape as though it were already a finished work of art.
In that moment, the lotus pond felt less like a destination and more like a place where silence could simply exist.
